Portugal is an associate member of European Union and NATO. It lies along the coast of Iberian Peninsula in south Western Europe. Applicant can execute an English or Portuguese version at origin residence authorities or onsulado-Geral De Portugal.
  • Not needed. The €500,000 requirement is only enforceable at the time the investment is made.
  • If applicant would like to invest in properties has a price above €500,000, the minimum initial payment equals to €500,000. Applicants can apply for mortgage or loan for the remaining portion of payment.
After the completion of property purchase, residence state could be granted as fast as 3 months.

Applicant is eligible to apply for permanent residency identity if he holds a temporary residence state for continuously 5 years.
